Check the engine and transmission fluid condition. The transmission fluid should be cherry pink if this car had regular services. See if it has maintenance records. Check if the CEL and TRAC is on or not (should not be on). If it is on, retrieve the codes. Make sure every electronic part works, as small as the relays. Get under the car and check for rust and signs for any damage.

When you test drive it, there should be no vibrations!. These cars are very smooth. One thing which I've noticed with my Celsior, is that the timing belt has jumped a tooth or two. When I'm sitting in the car I can hardly feel the engine running. Its when I put my hand on top of the engine that I notice a slight vibration of an engine running off time.

Best of luck with the purchase.

I have similar issues with my lexus rx330. The check engine light keeps blinking, the car shakes even when stationary with the engine on especially in traffic, and the car does not ride smoothly on the high way.

I took it to a mechanic workshop/servicing centre where it was suggested that it's engine spark plugs problem which I let them change all six. The air filter and adjacent parts were cleaned including the air flow meter. However, prior to the development of this "flashing check engine light" they have changed the passenger front shock absorberror, both shaft tubing protector, and the two steering locks (the thyroid, the previous day. The problem continues.

Today, I had the car scanned and got these codes:
C1223 (malfunctioning ABS)
C1246 (malfunctioning master cylinder pressure sensor)
P0304 (s1 and s2)

Please I need help for the interpretation of these results/code and how I will sort out these problems.

Thank you all in advance.

First of all its not a 94, unless only the 93 to 94 USA cars have the right hand airbag. You better check the vin and the tag on the driver door B pillar for the manufacture date. Just look around of these forums to see what could happen after you are the new owner. Has it been painted any place?
Someone added that goofy little spoiler to the trunk lid.
