Sometimes the story isn't the number but the people who made it a reality. Engineers, designers, past owners, the current owners, and the mechanics who kept it on the road.

Not to mention the exorbitantly high repair bills that came with the journey.

i wish i were really rich in the 90s, i'd have an LS in florida, socal, or anywhere else that's always warm and dry that i only ever took out at night to drive long distances on the highway lol... the thing would outlive me haha

Wasn't this engine in this car rebuilt around the 700k mark? Pretty sure I read that somewhere...

Correction the article states it was rebuilt at 600k.

aww damn this entire time i've thought it wasn't a rebuilt engine... oh well it's still an incredible number regardless. it also makes me hopeful for the future considering i'm only at 125,000 miles
