Default Intro thread - Minnesota LS400

"no, this is not matt farahs million mile lexus"

hey, just got me a 1994 LS400 on Monday. It has 164,xxx miles on it and was a one owner vehicle serviced at a local Lexus dealership from what I see on My Lexus and well taken care of from the looks of it. I plan on getting it back to Stage 0 and keeping it for the long haul hopefully.

Just did the front brake pads and rotors yesterday, going to do the rears soon, an oil change, trans flush, coolant and brake fluid flush and finally a suspension refresh. from the pics it does look a bit low in the rear but it still rides buttery smooth. I also did a muffler delete but it still needs the gasket right after the cat's so those will be going on tomorrow. if i get some time this weekend I'll do a full interior/exterior detail.

1994 LS400

my other rides:
2007 Volvo S60R

2007 XC90 V8 Sport

any other Minnesotan's on here?

Congrats and welcome! If you're replacing all the fluids, don't forget the differential, and maybe the power steering fluid as well.

thanks guys! whats a good website to get OEM parts? I am looking at doing a suspension refresh and still debating on KYB or getting OEM. I know I want OEM springs though. Also while I am doing the rear suspension refresh what else is a MUST REPLACE item?

I'd look through this thread... hits most of the places many of us use since Sewell got out of the online business.
