Default CODE 31 Help

Engine light went on so i checked the code. 31 is mass airflow sensor. So i replaced the sensor. It ran good after the installation, but after a day it went back to the way it ran before the installation. The engine light N trac light are back on also. People are saying its the ECU. Wanting some opinions on the matter

Where did you get your sensor from? New or used? These are the type you can't clean.
Those connectors are prone to break with age and miles. Are you sure the connector is on tight and has a good connection? Did you clean it with electronics cleaner?
