Unhappy Excessive wind noise?

Any experiencing excessive wind noise on thier 94 LS? I checked around the body hardware, mouldings and rubber trim around windows but I cant seem to find any problem. The noise seems to be on the drivers side, around by the side view miror. I cant feel any air comming through inside the car. Could it be the side mirror causing all of that wind racket? Almost sounds like a flag blowing in the wind when I drive.

yup, my 93 sounds like a tornado driving down the road, like the windows are open. i wrote it off as 10 year old rubber around the windows and doors. also the drivers side rear view mirror whistles... if pull the mirror in like going through the car wash i doesn't make that sound. but at this point if that is my worse problem i would be estatic

Angry wind noise still there

Even with the sunroof cover closed, there is no difference. It's still noisey. I guess i'll just have to live with it.
Thanks for your input.

Default wind screeching

i have the same problem with my 95 LS. i just got it back from the dealer where i bought it a few years ago and they said that the noise was from my deflector. they said this even though i told them i put the deflector on to combat the screeching noise that was already there! i have noticed as was already said that closing the inner part of the sunroof does lessen the noise somewhat. i have likened the sound to that of a teapot going off on a stove. the colder it is, the more high pitched! i just turn the stereo up reallllly loud and then i can't hear a thing. thank god for the nakamichi!

i wonder if if it really is the rubber around the seals? it does kinda sound like it's coming from the doors a little too. from what i understand, the previous owner did live near the shore so the salt might have dried out the rubber. who knows? if anybody ever figures out what the real culprit is with the screeching noise please put it on the board and you will be worshipped as a god(dess).

one more thing, they told me that the weird symptoms i was experiencing electrically were because of my battery. they showed me the battery sticker which showed a 1995 date. is it really possible that the original battery lasted 8 years or do u think maybe someone affixed it on there and changed it out? hmmmmmm.?

Default wind noise

I've got a '95 LS 400 with two new doors on the drivers side and of course, all new moldings. Everything fits perfectly and I just put a set of Michelin symetry tires on which were the quietest I cuold find and I still get a lot of wind noise on the drivers side, I guess we just live with it, Sorry.
