4550339095 and both the same LH and RH and attach the rack. Your numbers look good.

And this is 1st gen stuff.

Thanks dicer.

The attached is the left inner tie rod end from my car. Yes it needs changing urgently.

However, I am only seeing right inner tie rod ends available. My question therefore is whether these tie rod ends are interchangeable, that is can the right inner be used for the left inner ?

thanks in advance.

The above inner end came out from the left side of my ucf 21. From my research it seems as if this was for the right side. I need to know the correct placement. thanks

I was just going by the parts book. I could be wrong, so here you go. This is for 92, what year is yours?
That longer wrenching area looks like the LH one in the parts book. I don't know why they give the same number for both sides.

That is indeed the right inner tie rod end since it states that's the side that the right outer tie rod end goes.

right and left have different part numbers. in the sewell pic you are pointing to the right inner tie rod.

Sorry I didn't catch the 96 in your first post. That picture clears it all up. I need to wake up before I post info. even had my left and right goofed up.

Thanks guys, I needed that confirmation.

I can therefore clearly say that the previous owner's mechanic installed the tie rod ends on opposite sides.
i.e the right inner tie rod end is on the left of my vehicle
the left inner tie rod end is on the right of my vehicle.

Im guessing this can be one of the major causes why my LS400 drifts on the road? even after allignment...?

if the alignment shows zero toe, i don't see how a difference in tie rod inners will matter during the drive. what i do see being affected by the opposite swap is the lock left to lock right distance since something was compensated to account for the longer inner rod.

what i also noticed after looking at the pic is that your inner rod is slightly bent!

Thanks guys. Your guidance was correct. However, It was my fault not to mention that my car is 96 Celsior which means that it is a RHD. Therefore, it was correctly in place at first. So for future reference guys, the left inner steering end of a Celsior would be the right inner steering end of an LS400, similarly the right inner steering end of a Celsior would be the left inner steering end of an LS400.
