My 1990 LS400 was involved in collision which damaged front hood and latch. The hood is buckled and latch will not release. I will probably need to cut it open. I found a replacement hood and latch on another car at a junkyard, but I cannot see how to remove the latch mechanism from frame in order to replace mine. Looks like I may need to remove the radiator and fan assembly to get at the latch.

Can anyone provide guidance on how to replace a 1990 LS400 hood latch?

Also need to find a method for replacing the hood latch cable.
