Alryt brother....
I got this motor for $20 from the junkyard... It works quite well when i jacked up the wire with the connection.. I will be replacing this motor... I ran into a problem, I have unhook all the screws except the two screws at the inside as it lies just with the steering column as shown in the picture(red marks)... the first one is the round-head screw, i have applied pretty much force to unscrew it, but it is not getting unscrew, the sceond one is not getting uunscrew as the wrench is not reaching there..
any way to open them???

Thank you for the video. My 1996 LS 400's steering wheel is doing exactly what your's was--not moving up and down. My mechanic said the motor needs to be replaced (not just the gear you fixed) and quoted me $1200, because he said the part costs almost $1000. I'll try your fix first but I'd like to know how long your fix worked, or if it is still working.
Thanks again.
