So I've read that cleaning the egr and throttle body along with the egr modulator can take care of code 71 got the code 55 are they like the mk3 supra with the knock sensor wire being the problem or should i swap the sensors out thanks a lot for any help

code 71 can be a vacuum leak within the egr system
code 55 is a knock sensor failure, replace both sensors..the connectors and if u haven't replaced the starter, now is a good time.

Like python said if you have to replace those knock sensors get the starter done too since you have to take the manifold off.

If you have to remove a gasket replace it with a new one, costs a little more but saves another strip down if a reused one fails to reseal.
