Default Engine Won't Start...'96 LS400

Car has been sitting for 3months and engine won't start. Battery good, turns over fine, can hear fuel pump working, all fuses and relays check to be OK, obd2 port says can't read data and there's no fire at a spark plug. Can't find ECU...has it failed?

Do you have the initial check engine light that illuminates once you turn the key to the "on" position?

If not, that's another sign of a ECU capacitors that are toast.

Thanks, guys. That's about what we thought, but weren't sure. Do you know where they hid the ecu on this model? We see conflicting info on this....the passengers kick panel, steering wheel area, in front of the firewall, etc. thanks.

Do you have the key in the on position when plugging up the code reader?
