Default 1994 Lexus LS400 MAINTENANCE

Replace my spark plugs and ignition wires Friday. Found autolite platinum spark plugs in engine. Plugs slightly worn. Two of the spark plugs were loose. I removed them by hand . Ignition wires look ok but who knows when they were service. Replace with denso wires and ngk plugs. The engine has a smoother idle, slightly better acceleration and quieter at idle. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE IS EVERYTHING

Changing 2 quarts of transmission fluid with every oil change. Transmission fluid was pretty dark. Switch to syn oil an it seems to make the engine quieter. But M1 in my 1992 honda and it made it sound like a sewing machine.

sewing machine bad. noisy when outside temp is cold. Quiets down after the engine reaches operating temp. Why replace the thermostat??.. Temp gauge seems to be reading ok. Plenty of heat.
