Default 1993 ls400 nakamichi radio aux jack?

Hi there.
I'm wondering about how difficult it is to rig an external auxiliary jack to my nakamichi radio to allow me to use my ipod/iPhone or mp3 player.

Has anyone has done this? Is there a diy somewhere?
Thanks

If it worked normally in the first place, yes.

Or ship your radio to Factory Radio Service for a really cool rear mounted aux-in, with a front mounted on-off button and a 6' cable for remote mounting like I and several others on this forum has done: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...000-ls400.html

^ I've been looking into that. Anyone have experience with both? Any difference with sound quality?
