Default Starter replaced, still won't start-run

I have a 1994 lexus ls400 & had the starter replaced & now i try to start it ,it start & shuts back off as if its out of gas . I was thinking it was the computer, before the starter went out i could be driving & when i pressed the gas pedal hard its like it would fall on its face, anyone else have had these issues?

The most likely is that during the starter replacement some connector has been removed and not put back properly. Check all those connections around the intake plenum and throttle body.

Check the harness leading to the crank sensor for damage. The clips get old and break. Then the wires rub on the drive belt.
