New LS400 owner here saying hello.
Whats up clublexus, proud new owner of a 1998 LS400. This is my first Lexus. Coming from a Civic, Integra. and Miata, this car is quite a change in driving dynamics. I was always a fan of the LS400 since my elementary school days, loved the luxury and masculine looks of a beefy executive sedan. I recently sold my Miata and used the money to pick up the LS. And I gotta say, I am loving it.
2000 Mazda Miata (NB)
And now my new baby:
She has 124K, has had two owners. I still need to detail her but so far she looks decent.
This is my 3rd black car, tried hard to find a white but most were super beat up and neglected. Found this black one and said okay one last time.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
I ended up selling the car, it was nice and luxurious but I really miss the lightweight, spartan/rawness of my former vehicles (Integra, Civic, Miata).
Ill be back on the forums if I decide to pick up a manual IS300.

Why not? Spartan and raw....pretty bare bones interior and light curb weight. Particularly my Miata. I just realized I prefer the simplicity and sport factor over the luxurious LS that has power everything. My main issue was I didn't expect the car to handle like such a boat. It was very plush but I felt so detached from the car. With my old cars, I drive em. When driving the LS...it feels like it drives me for lack of a better description.
No worries lol, she is lovely. I named her Alexis and my dad is enjoying her every time he takes her out. And I love riding as a passenger, I just couldn't be the driver/owner.
Actually come to think of it, I guess spartan and raw would have to be the Lotus Elise...that's a true example.

Yeah only had the car a couple days...and it was an easy sell since my dad liked the car so much.

Well, if we're thinking in that train of thought, then this must be "Leonidas."
