So my axles are shot. I need remand. units however NAPA, Pep Boys, Carquest...none of them carry the driverside only the passenger. I can't seem to find a rebuilt driverside ANYWHERE. Does anyone know if the 95-00 axles are interchangable onto the older models by chance? Or maybe the SC?

Does not appear that these parts are interchangeable. Go and check www.Rockauto.com they usually have some aftermarket choices if you are on a budget. I doubt any one else here will recommend aftermarket parts for that, but if you are on a budget that would be the way to go, if they have the parts you are looking for.

Just buy a used one from a yard if yours is dead. They aren't an overly common failure point so they should be cheap as hell at a decent yard.

 

Currently 0 LS400's at any of my local junk yards. I already called today.
