Clunking sound and vibrating from rear wheel on UCF1....
So just recently I bought and restored a (no so beautiful set) of 19" Shallen AME's which are now almost back to perfect with repainted faces and re polished lips. They rode great for a day or two on street and long distance on freeway for that time. The next day some pretty violent bouncing (feeling from the rear since steering wheel felt fine and smooth) happened as soon as I left my house last night going about 50mph or more making me turn around immediately. I realized these guys never balanced the wheels with tires on when I saw no weights on any of the rims, so I decided to take the wheels off and put on the stock saw blades and drive to ensure it was the unbalanced wheels. As soon as I got out the drive way and started driving not even hitting 5 miles per hour I hear a nasty clunking sound as the stock wheels turned that I never heard before on the rear left wheel. So I decided not to even drive it at fast speed to test the bouncing so now it sits. I just replaced both rear bearings a month ago due to the same left rear wheel was squeaking on OEM sawblades and had to change the whole hub assembly on that side since it had warped from so much play so I doubt the brand new bearings are bad. I removed the wheel but there is NO play on the drive axle except for the normal back and forth. Anyone have ANY idea what this first bouncing and now clunking sound could be??? I hate having just put on my nice wheels not even a week ago and now not being able to drive
