Hi all,
I have 2 questions.
1. My remote key has stopped locking and unlocking the car.
It has a new battery and at work I have checked it with an rf meter. It was giving 27.33 mhz. I don't know if this is correct.
The remote switch on the dash is definitely on.
So what should I check now.
I have had the car for 3 months and everything was fine and working.

My paint code is 199 and I have a touch up pen for stone chips etc. But I have noticed that the lower body (below the chrome line) is a slightly darker silver and it looks factory. Is this right, or has some one in the past added a different shade, as I can't find any details on 2 colors being used and it would be nice to get a touch up for that shade as well if this is original. If so, where do I find the code.

The 2 tone is factory. I had the same problem trying to do body work on my old Celsior. Autobachs wasn't able to find the factory paint code so they just matched the paint. Sorry I don't have the paint code for the lower portion. Hopefully somebody else might be able to help with that.

Thank you. That gives me something to work with.
I think my local paint shop has color chips and with these codes I might be able to find them.
No mention on the engine bay plate, only 199 paint code.
