can someone tell me what the indash guage lights are made of? there anyway possible to change the color of the indash guages?

any info would be much appreciated. thanks

 

I believe they are "cold cathode" lamps. I posted some general info on them in a thread started by "The Lex" on 2/28/02 (Instrument Cluster....$1000). Lots of great instrument cluster info in that thread.

Interesting idea you have on changing color ! Suggest you do a Web search on "cold cathode", "cold cathode lamps", etc It will point you to some cold cathode lamp manafacturers who perhaps could help.
