can someone tell me if they have heard of the lights on the instrument cluster not lighting up upon starting engine. I am looking at buying a 94 LS400 in wonderful condition, but the instrument cluster won't fire up for about 5 minutes if it is cold out.

I've see them not fire up as the mtr is cranking over .......
but I dont know about a 5min. waiting period
