Did you just put a new disk in it... and now get this message?
Found this thread where guy was getting the same msg on a GS.

Seems like....his ended up being a possible format on the disk he bought second hand.

You have to love that *Engrish* translation. Cold for disk... Just trying to think why cold. Maybe cold meaning unhappy with the current conditions?

What you are saying doesn't make sense to me. The removable/replaceable hard drive is not even close to $2,500 from a dealer even if you don't have an old one to exchange. But who would want the hard drive anyway? The latest maps are from 2003 or so - mostly worthless.

If you want nav, buy a portable Garmin, etc. or install an aftermarket in-dash unit. Get an HVAC control from a non-nav 98-00 LS400 .... usually pretty cheap (< $150) on eBay.
