? about a/c
i got a 92 ls400 and was wondering is the a/c r12 or 134?
secondly, i have r12 gauges, somewhere, and i was wondering if anyone knew, after i hook up my gauges, what the normal a/c pressure numbers should read on the gauges? is there a site that shows this stuff? thanks for the help.

the correct pressures depend on temperature and level of refrigerant in the car.
A/C is not a good do-it-yourself area. You can severely injure yourself or really screw up one of the most expensive systems on the car.
if you see bubbles in the sight glass on the top of the dryer, you can add a bit of whatever refrigerant is called for on the tag under the hood, until the bubbles go away and stay gone, and if you don't know what and where the dryer is, you probably shouldn't be fooling with it.
PS - make sure you only add refrigerant to the low side with the compressor running, we don't need any members blowing themselves up!
