Default 99LS ... Problems with Outside Temp Reading...

My Outside temp stopped working (doesn't show up next to my clock anymore) after "Check VCS" came up and then disappeared quickly ... I checked the battery and I found a lil corrosion so I cleaned it, but my Outside temp reading still not working and everything else around it does ... Is there a special sensor for that and if not what would be the problem? Thanks for taking the time to read my post you guys and I will be looking forward for an answer about this ...

The sensor is behind the front bumper grill. On the passenger side if I remember correctly.

@timmy0tool Yes it does, there's no problems with it and I hope it stays that way ... It's just weird , it happened out of no where ... I will try to locate the sensor , it seems like a mention to go behind the front bumper ... any more advice guys ?

As the photo below shows, normally it indicates not only the temperature but also "OUT SIDE".
You may be needed to check the LCD drive circuit or the LCD itself. The clock side of the LCD looks OK and the possibility of the failing point might be before the LCD, I think.

my money is on the sensor being out, the "check VCS" is the clue, and it is rare for only one half of an LCD screen to fail
