Default Seat memory

I own a 97 ls400 and my seat memory does not work.
I've checked all the connectors (door, seat) and even swoped the control module in the door for the one that works on my friend's LS and still no luck.
Does anyone know what else to check for? I imagine that there must be a computer box that controls it. Where is it located?

I am aware of this and, unfortunately, mine just does not work.
