Default Serpentine belt same or different???

Ok i have a 89 Celsior which has the Hydraulic driven fan.
Does anybody know if its the same or different serpentine belt as the models with the belt driven fan?
I have tried searching but failed to find an answer.

Thanks.

I also have a Celsior but a 1995 model. My car also has the hydraulic driven fan. I recently changed the timing belt and waterpump and also the serpentine belt came in the kit. Its a MITSUBOSHI 6PK-2245 belt, it does fit but it seems to be slightly shorter than original. I have thrown the old one in the bin, but maby you can still read the original nrs on your serpentine belt? I whould like to get the right size.

Yamae, maby you can help us out?

Nah the numbers on my belt are long gone.
Maybe the new one is shorter because its not stretched like the one you replaced?

Of course it is shorter than the original, your belt stretches as it ages! (hence the need for the tensioner)

The belt for a Celsior is shown
here although all written in Japanese.

UCF10,11,20 and 21 use the same belt 6PK2275 not 6PK2245.

this is not what Lexus dealers in USA supply for my UCF20

they specify 6PK2240 or 6PK2230

also Bando and Mitsuboshi specify these smaller sizes for LS400, and both companies, as you know are Toyota OEM

also, from what I learned as a professional mechanic in the hottest areas, and also some of the coldest areas in USA, there is no single correct belt size, just a range - in very hot climates (i.e. Arizona or UAE) you want the shortest belt that you can get on the vehicle with the tensioner at full cocked position, due to heat expansion, otherwise you will have belt squeak and possible thrown belt on a very hot day once the belt is older

The difference between us/eu and jdm are the engine fan pully's. Look at yamae's link and you will see what i mean.

Thanks Yamae, i will order a bando 6pk2275 next week.

EDIT: I think i will go for a 6PK-2270 GATES belt. I can order this belt here in NL, that safe's me a lot of €€€.

I got the right belt from gates. Only the tensioner appears to weak now. What do you guys think about the position ?

It is a bit weak but within a range. A new 6PK2275 should be at narrow markers. Your Gate's 6PK2270 looks like a 6PK2280 or 2285.

You don't need to replace it once again but I suggest you to pay some attentions for the time being not to be out of the range.

Yes i was thinking the same. Its weaker now because the 6pk2245 has weaken the spring in the tensioner, and the new serpentine tensioner pulley is 1mm smaller in diameter (dayco pulley with NTN bearing)
