if your up-to-date on maintenance just keep it unless you really want a new one. I'm nearing 225k and I debate about selling it all the time but I cant justify selling it just yet.

yeah, maintenance is up to date and no issues, i prob keep it a few more years, no point in getting a car note. I prob just put some new ls430 wheels on it.

all of us are going to say keep it of course, we are all biased! it's really up to you if you like the car or not. an 04-06 would be a nice upgrade. if you have the means to do so, why not! i just like the fact i don't have a monthly payment on a car.

It's really a personal thing... what makes you happy...
I am in a position where I have both... an 02 430 and the 99 400... they have about the same miles on them. While the 430 is nice... I find that I enjoy driving the 400 more than the 430. It has a few less bells and whistles, but in the end..I just appreciate and like that ride more than the 430.
I'd say spend some time behind the wheel of a 430 to help you make up your mind. If there is nothing wrong with the 400 then I'd say stay with it. But could be your bored and just want the next project.
Good luck...

Read through the 430 section to get an idea of what is being fixed on those as they age. Both are excellent cars and with their own issue to contend with. Depends on your wants.

Improved safety on the 430, bigger trunk, almost similar MPG, more electronic gee-gaws. Both look good fixed up though that said, I like the look of the 2-LS.

also heard when you lower the 430s the caster gets all out of whack, yes caster, not camber! to get it all corrected you need to spend $$$ on adjustable arms. i too prefer the UCF20s overall body lines and look.

I guess I am missing something...... where did this LS come from? NO air? no amber turn signals, no amber side marker lights??
I like my 430 wheels better:

Agreed. Car looks nice & clean with the subtle additions. UCF30's are great but the simplicity of a UCF20 is better. Being a 00' model I'd say keep it.
