Cheap steel wheels?
So I'm back to retiring my dead '90 LS400. I want to keep the rims from it to mount snow tires for the "new" '92 LS400. What other cars share the same wheel size that I can get a set of steel wheels from the wrecking yard?

The 90 LS is a 15 inch wheel I believe. You should be able to find all kinds of factory steel wheels at the wrecking yard. Anything with the same bolt pattern should do just fine. You have alot of options because you don't have to worry about the brakes. Pretty much any import/Japanese car with a 5 lug pattern will most likely be 5x114.3 (same as the LS). Not all of them, but it's a very common bolt pattern.

A 15" Toyota Camry/Avalon wheel should fit. Back in the 90's, Tire Rack sold 15" Avalon wheels in their snow tire packages for the 90-92 LS400. Just for grins, I once swapped the 15" wheels between the 90 LS and the 98 Camry we used to have - perfect fit. If you get 90's era Camry wheels make sure they are from a Camry V6 since 14" wheels were standard on the 4-cyl. Camry.
Edit: I wouldn't think it should matter but the Avalon wheels I mentioned and our Camry wheels were OEM alloys - not steel.
