I am looking for cheap 16" wheels that I can put some dedicated snow tires on for my 93 LS400. Can anyone direct me as to where I may be able to get a cheap, generic set to get me through the winter? Thanks.

 

It depends on the definition of "cheap" but I bought some 16" Mille Miglia wheels for my snow tires from Tire Rack for around $115 last fall - they still have wheels in this price range. Another alternative would be to find some 16 inch wheels from a Toyota such as an Avalon or Camry. I once switched the 15" wheels between our 98 Camry and 90 LS found that they fit both cars perfectly. The Toyota wheels might be slightly narrower than the Lexus wheels but that would not matter much for snow tires. An important thing to check would be clearance for the brake calipers.

 

I have 4 15" OEM rims + snow tires (75% tread) from a '91LS400.
