the front seats are tore up and i was wondering what other models or other cars would have matching seats. also, my brakes are bad but there is full brake fluid, no leak, and the pads are fine. this car has 291,000 miles on it and i want to how much longer it has? please respond back with any details or tips i can use it would be greatly appreciated. thankyou

Only other cars with these seats are other LS400s. Forget scavenging for used leather covers, just go to an upholstery shop and have them redo the bad parts. Probably wont be as expensive as you think it may be.

How are the brakes "bad"? Probably just has air in the system.

It's difficult to judge how much "longer" a car will last once it gets close to the 300K mile mark. It depends on its maintenance history. My old 4Runner has close to 280K on it now, and it is showing zero signs of giving up anytime soon. Just comb through and see what may need attention.

thanks man appreciate the help. the brake dont start working till they hit the floor im sure of the problem. yeah i was going to talk them to a upholstry shop. they guy who owned it before me tore the driver seat apart. both passenger and driver motors do not work, where can i get those fixed? or would i need to find new seats?
