Default Removing the rear seats

How do yoy remove the rear seats of the Ucf20/21 1999 lexus ls400.
Im bout to install my lowering springs myself and I know how todo the front but I kno the rear seats has to come out for the rear. Is there a DIY thread on removing the rear seats??

Thanks in advance...im tryna do this sometime this week.

Ok so ive looking for the tabs on my rear seats and I dont feel them at all. Im lookin to install my lowering springs this weekend. But in tryna get a head start the day before.
How can I remove the rear seats from 98-00 Ls? Help!!! Lol

You have to pull up on the bottom cushions near each back door, then pull up in the middle of each seat. after that just remove all the bolts from the back seat. There are bolt in back of the headrests that you have to pull up flaps to reveal.

i found that removing the belt guides completely from the seats (2 screws on each) work better than unclipping them to free the seatbelt. because of age, the belt guides tend to get brittle and break when you try to unclip them. be careful as there is a sharp probe on the belt guide that can scratch the leather.

also when removing the seat cushion, you need to pull upward firm and sharp at the clips.

"FIRM" you mean like your trying to pick the car up!!! ....... I thought I would get a rupture before mine turned loose . but as old as I am, everything is difficult ...

^ hahaha yeah billy you need to give a good sharp pull at them, avoiding injury at all costs. it's a testament to how well these cars are put together. putting the seat cushion back is also a challenge...

Lol yea I figured this already im takin them all the way out on friday and the putting my lowering springs in on Saturday. Along with my new shoes and goodies!!
