Default Thoughts on some wheels.

So, I was perusing good ol Ebay today. Came across a listing for Rohana Wheels. Now, I don't know much about these or the company. But they seem to have some decent sizing for a decent price.

This first link is offering 20x9 +15 and 20x11 +10, 20 or 28 for $1600 shipped.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Rohana-RC...dca54c&vxp=mtr

Here is the listing on their company site.

http://rohanawheels.com/wheels/rc10/

I've noticed that this distributor has a fairly good selection of the wheel styles in pretty massive widths and very aggressive concave faces.

Examples:

RC10

RC22

RC5

So, on to my questions and interest in all of your comments/critiques.

The first is, does anyone have any feedback on the actual company?

Next, does anyone feel these would look halfway decent on a UCF20? It will be dropped on coils soon.

Opinions on dropping that much cash on an unknown reputation (for me anyways), or continue searching for a decent set of used JDM/VIP ish wheels?

Finally, is there anyone on here running a 20x11 in the back? I'm not scared to mod fenders. I've got a fender roller, cut off wheels, welders etc. I know I can make them fit if I need to, but am curious. I have looked in the wheel thread, but there is not really a consistent spec listing with each posting making it difficult to decide.

Never heard of the company but those first wheels look freaking awesome!!! If they make good wheels then I wouldnt have a problem paying 1600 for the first set!

meh, about the same quality as vossen, a lower-middle range chinese/taiwanese made cast wheel. Pricing should be ~$1500-2k all in, plus tires.

That's what my thoughts were as well. Most wheels that are named after letters and numbers are usually chinese/taiwanese lol.

I was mainly drawn to them for the sizing. There are not a whole lot of 'affordable' wheels that offer that sizing or have lower offsets.

i personally i'd take a used set of japanese wheels over a brand new set of made-in-china/taiwan wheels any day. do some more research and you can find a decent set of 20" wheels within budget. it will take some time as 20" is not as popular as 19". in the end it's your car, do what you like.

search the wheel thread a few months back and you have your answer.

Thanks for the pic. Guess I wasn't paying enough attention while looking.

I plan on buying what I like for sure. The main purpose of this thread was to see if anyone had any feedback on the company.

Wheels are the biggest decision you can make when modding a car, IMO. They can easily make or break the desired look. At the same time, they are a very personal choice as well.
