for 1990-1994 body kits, does the OEM front end stay on and then the aftermarket front bumper goes on top of the OEM? because i have noticed on some of the body kits they still have the chrome strip. is that because its comes with the kit? for example, the xenon body kit and the wings west.

 

The chrome strip goes on to the new bumper. The entire front stock bumper comes off.

 

The bodykits that add on to OEM bumpers are "add-on" kits. Those are less expensive than full bodykits which require you to replace the entire bumper(s) and side skirts.

 

oh i know the difference between the add-on and full replacement. i just didnt know if the full replacement had to be cut or somethin to accomodate the new one. thanks for the info.

 

hey eric what did you do with your body kit that was wrecked? if you still have it......want to sell it to me? like the sideskirts? rear bumper?

I still have my rear bumper and side skirts on at this moment, but when I redo my car at the begin of next year. I am going to get rid of my exhausts, side skirts, and rear bumper.
