Default junkyard score!

I went out to the local u-pull yard to get a driverside fender for my ls400. I found a 93 (same year as mine), and it had everything I needed. I also needed a couple door caps, so I got those too. It also had a set of clear marker/turn signals on it. I got those for almost nothing.

So I got some repair parts, and something to make the front end look better! I did get rained on, but it was worth it.

That's the old fender. The new one is silver. I plan on having the car painted around the first of the year. With the ksports that are going on it, I'm thinking about painting it a matte black. I haven't seen any LS's with the flat black look. Should look pretty mean if I can get the stance just right.

congrats, but this still doesn't come close to what another member found in a junkyard.

complete set of extremely limited production Eibach springs AND sway bars for a 1LS

how does one spot rare suspension components while at the junkyard? - not sure I would recognize the good stuff from the junk

OP - those turn signals alone saved you $35 versus buying them on ebay, and they are probably better quality

Yeah they seem to be the same qaulity as the OEM one's I took off. Didn't have to wait for shipping either!

if they are the real Celsior JDM ones, they are worth big bucks - the Chinese ones on ebay are OK, but nowhere near Lexus quality

you need to have a sharp eye. That member (Doncorleone iirc) actually first found the springs, then after describing the sway bars (coloring sounded like eibachs to me) went back and snagged those too.

Saw the sways first, red sways on an LS400 tend to catch your eye after looking at dozens of them in a few months time. Was a PITA to get the front sway out since someone had unbolted and dropped the engine on the car before I got there. Went back for the springs later after someone in the thread put some sense into my head.
