My cars worth
Hey guys, I have a 95 lexus ls 400 and the car is black/black. Piano black wood interior. 195,000 miles. Mostly highway miles since I travel approximately 1000 miles a week because of my work. Its been daily driven for the past two years. Just got a new company vehicle so I am thinking of possibly selling this thing...Im asking you guys out there what you think this car is worth as it sits. Here are some mods---
------
-Injen intake
-Borla Exhaust (both cat-deletes)
-K-Sport Coilovers
-20x8 Front
20x10.5 rear
Staggered wheels
-Built In K40 Radar Jammer/Detector
-Pioneer Double Din Screen AVIC-D3
-2 MTX 10" subs with amp
-8000k Hids
-3000k yellow fogs
-all led interior lights
-aftermarket bumper
-headliner wrapped in black
-Thousands of dollars in receipts for everything ever done on the car, maintenance, parts etc.
what do you guys think as a price?

Gather all your supporting documents such as receipts and service records.
Everything you spent whether aesthetics or not should have all documents. It's easy to mislead anyone by saying this or that, and what not, but if you can justify everything, maybe between $6k - $7k. It will take the right buyer to buy your car. It may take sometime for the right buyer to find you.
Advertising is also a big key. If you can build your own website and put your car in there and then publish it in the internet, so much better.
Here's a sample: http://astigracing.com/my-cars_006.htm
Take your time and gather everything and shoot for the stars. Good luck!

You have a very nice ride ..... follow RA40's advise. A modified car is worth less, unless you find a buyer that LOVES everything you did AND is willing to pay you for it .... this is rare.
Your LS probably has a firmer ride with the coilovers, a louder than stock exhaust, a massive stereo and huge wheels, which are not, I suspect, was most LS used car buyers are looking for.
I also think the prices others gave you are low, if the car is as nice inside as it looks outside, but high milage 17 year old V8 cars are not in high demand.

Given the mileage, its worth about 5K, if you can find a guy who likes all the little mods and such you did to the appearance.
However if someone wants it, and will restore it to stock (you dont want that buyer) then you'll be lucky to get 3 for it.
High mileage cars simply arent in demand.
Take my SC400... 3 months ago it was worth 3k.
I just dumped 7-8 grand in it, rebuilding the entire engine, suspension, brakes, and a brand new paint job (a GOOD one)
And now, I'd say it's worth ..... 3k
