Default Different gauge options?

Has anyone ever used aftermarket gauges in their LS400? If so what brand and how?

Why would you want aftermarket gauges?

I have a Scangauge II in my LS currently, it connects to the OBDII port so you must have a 1996 or newer.

It can read and clear trouble codes and shows all kinds of information but then again not everything, like oil pressure.

When connected to my 2001 4runner I can see the transmission temperature but not on the 1996 LS.

Another option is the Ultra Gauge which is probably a better choice for an older car. I have not used one of them but I hear they are ok too.

Depends on what you are looking for, but these are easy to connect and use.

Cheap, great visuals, read codes, and you can use it on all your cars ('96 +)
