Default 93 ls400 Starts and shuts down after two seconds

Thanks for the replies! Okay I have alittle bit better handle on the car now that I have had a chance to get under the hood! When I put a new battery in,I turned it over and the car started but shut down in a couple of seconds! It wasnt like it sputtered to a stop, more like a sensor shutting it down! Turning it over after that and no response! I can get in the next morning and it will start and shut down after a couple of seconds! So obviously I have fuel and fire ! So I pulled the codes on it and came up with a code 24 which i since have cleared.I then went to change the oil and had a substantial amount of fuel in the oil, which I was told was a bad fuel injector. (or could have been from the previous owner continually trying to start it) So i pulled tested and cleaned the injectors! I have a new MAF , Installed a new (used) computer, ! What the Hell am I missing?!! All though I appreciate the advice that I need to find a mechcanic , that is just not in the budget right now! Any input from someone in the know ,would be great!!!! Thanks B---

( I have installed new fuel pump,filter,caps ,roters,plugs ,wires)

Can't be too specific about the Lex, but all fuel injected cars have a fuel pump relay that is controlled by the computer. The computer looks for engine tach pulses after being started, and if it doesn't see any, after a few seconds it kills the fuel pump. This is to keep a car from spewing raw fuel from a broken fuel line, in the event of a crash, etc. Sometimes there is an inertial switch (Ford) that can actuate from being jarred, and has to be reset manually, but I don't think I've seen this mentioned in the Lex manual. Find the fuel pump relay, and see if it is dropping out after a few seconds of run time.

this is what jumping fp and b+ does it take the relay out of the loop. forcing the pump to full speed. bypassing the relay and the fuel pump ecu.
