I have this light on.1995
This circular light comes on after I bust my *** and change both wheel bearings in the front. Is this light related to the speed sensor that is held by one 10 mm bolt that screws into the wheel bearing housing or is this another sensor gone bad?

I had never touched the rear and this light came on.So I am thinking the front is the problem. The front pads were good and I remember seeing the sensor being inside the caliper.I will go check again but where is that sensor coming from and into the top of the caliper.

That light indicates that you pads are low and need replacing. That just came one recently? OR just now, well, check the front/ rear sensor, you can buy new sensors so next time your pads are low you'll know or just join the 2 wires together to remove the light. I check my own brakes and don't need any kind of light to tell me that my brakes are low so I just joined the 2 wires back together. The wire acts as a circuit and will trip the light on the dash if your pads are too low and eventually ate into the wire/ sensor itself.

I experienced a similar problem after changing my brakes and rotors. Apparently I damaged the brake pad wear sensor. Picked up a replacement from RockAuto for $28.
