Default Unknown pulley and wire. what is it?

I saw this little pulley and it's wire cable, but I can't pull it nor push it. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like the heater control valve, electronic type
vs manual for most other cars. It controls the amount
of coolant passing thru the heater core thus controlling the
temperature. I'd bet if you unplug it you won't have heat or
too much heat.

But I advise against it, if you crank up the temperature the
position of the lever should move.

Mlevk is correct! Don't disconnect, that valve is filled with antifreeze to heat up the cabin. It's cool seeing it move, I hit the temp switch and run to the engine bay just to amuse myself..kinda feel like a kid...

OHHH

That's what that noise is inside when you adjust the temperature up or down..you can hear a little motor moving if it's really quiet outside.

Hey Lee,

Too bad we missed each other at Signal Auto. Anyway, my turbo inlet hose goes around it. I think it has to do with temperature control, most likely heat.

I guess I should be a little more careful in describing things.
"Disconnect" the "HARNESS WIRES" controlling it.
Yes , Lexozz is right , that if you fully disconnect it the
anti-freeze would shoot out.
