Default WHat error code would I get for a loose gas cap?

I am looking at buying a 1999 LS and the guy says he gets a check engine light on every now and then as he fills the car up with car while the car is running.....

What code would I get for this so I can match up what he says versus what is really happening?

If the code is only coming up cause of him being stupid then I am okay with it as I never fill a car while it is running. I should be able to reset the battery and the light go away right?

I just want to make sure that his explanation matches up to the CEL code so I am not getting conned

thanks

you'd be a very unwise man to buy the car without scanning the code first and making sure.

P044x and p045x is what you'd be generally looking at for gas cap evap codes

Exactly why I am going to have the codes scanned and if they don't match those two codes I will been asking for a huge step down in price or be walking away

$9700 for a 116K 1999 black outside tan inside 9/10 interior and 9/10 exterior. No nav and no nak and no air suspension.

Any other codes that him doing this would throw that will be no problem once someone sensible drives it?
