Default Recently picked up 98 LS400

Had it for about a month now. All stock for now!!! Want to do timing belt and water pump in the meantime, while I decide if I want megan LP's or EZ's. Will probably remove the resonators soon. I'm a long time honda owner. Still have a 93 civic that I've only driven once since I got the LS400. I'm loving this car so far.

Sweeet! She is gorgeous. Congrats and welcome to you. I don't see that color very often and it sure does look great.

The LS steals another heart huh? There could be an amusing commercial in there somewhere from the perspective of the lonely, pouting Honda.

Thanks all!!! Yeah, when I seen this color. I knew I had to have it! The civic is fun to drive still, but the lexus is a whole new world. Amazing how a luxury car this old can still put a smile on a face hahaha.

looks great! as a honda owner myself, i love not having to worry about theft on daily basis. your LS looks great, and i suggest going with BC coilovers vs the megans. read read read, search, read and you will learn a lot here. enjoy your stay!

it's a UCF20 MC~, unless it's got air.

clean looking car, and a semi-rare color, Baroque Red Metallic. (color code 3M9)

152000 at time of purchase
$6500 OTD
General maintenance history(want to get timing belt and wp changed soon)
3 owners
Will get interior photos
drove about an hour and twenty minutes to pick it up from a dealership.

I'll have to check my carfax again, but think this has been a midwest car all it's life.

Nice value there! Especially considering you got it for $6,500 from a dealership That is just about the price range we are looking in. Found a 95 with 124k down in ABQ but it's listed at $7400. Ouch. I told the guy I would consider going down there for a car but I needed to stay below $7,000 OTD.
