hmmm...i own a 1st gen and think the 95-97 have the best looking front ends..just like i think the first gens have the best looking rear ends. the 2nd gen and up rear ends are too bulky and i dont like the tail lights how they angle on the trunk as well as the bumpers have no cut out for the tail pipes

You need to have the JDM one piece headlights to get a better look.

I think the pre m/c ucf2x front end flows with the overall styling of the car, but looking at just the front end, the post m/c ucf2x is gorgeous. My favorite butt would have to be the euro spec ucf1x. There's something about that extra space for the long plates that makes it look nice.

From the front of the car. The UCF1x looks like what I would expect a 4door sports car to look like of that erra. The UCF2X deff look like LUXURY cars. Infact because of the fact of me thinking of a sports car insted of a luxury car from the front end, I'm going to be beefing up the brakes & suspention the most. Looks won't be my priorty. My order of modding importance is (1) suspention (2) brakes (3) HP (4) exterior (5) interior (6) audio. Now the order I upgrade stuff is mainly relyant on funds, need of repair, and what is needed first to safly support the other.

I think the 2.5 gen is the best looking as far as the ls400 goes.

Where are all the painted grilles?
Wow, Trukn1, that grille emblem looks like a emblem off of a rx400h, some of those emblems have distance sensors and are about 600$.

SpenceT, yours looks good too

Those are caps that fit over the existing mirrors. I bought them in 06 and had them imported in from Japan. There are a bunch of universal one's on ebay, but they are ill-fitting. The one's I had were specifically for the first gen LS. Held on with 3M double side and wired into the turn signals.
