Default Code 71

ugh...so ive done the search and have read up on every post with 10 or more replies, i cleared the code and it came back in 50 miles just like others have experienced. i cleaned the filter, changed all my vacuum lines in the system...i also ran tests on the egr valve..engine stumbled..the modulator..vacuum at 4 psi..then checked vacuum from vsv and it was also around 3 or 4.
my question is..i want to clean out the egr system...valve,passages and also the tube. the tube is located on the back of the engine by the firewall and it looks to be difficult to get to..has anyone done this and are their any tips for easier access or removal..thanks in advance

Congrats on finding your problem. Which vacuum line was broken?

closest one to the firewall on the tb..i had a shop fix an oil leak on my passenger side valve cover (cam plug was leaking) and he tightened my strut tower bar and let it rotate and cut my vacuum line..i found it myself after taking it in to have them clean my egr and passages. i had already replaced several lines on my egr, solenoid and vsv valve..i noticed the bar was cocked to the side and thought..maybe its up against the lines on the tb..sure as ***** it was.
