I have a 94LS400 and I need help with a problem I am having trying to crank my car. I am showing code 12 from my Scanner and this is the problem I am having.
I cannot crank up my car from the ignition. I have to open the starter relay and press down the relay and the car cranks fine, but I cannot start the car by just turning my key. When I turn my key the lights on th dash board show but there is no signal to my starter. I have already tried to change the starter relay, cam sensors on both sides, crank sensor, ignition switch, and also replaced the neutral switch. The old neutral switch was fried up. Does anyone know about this problem and does anyone know how I could fix this or give me some suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for reading.

What about by passing the ignition switch permanently and going with a push button and a toggle (arm) switch
Did you figure out the problem? I am having the same problem. car will not turnover unless i press down on the starter relay. i put a new relay in but same problem.
There is a 7.5A "Starter Fuse" have you checked this is OK, if it is get someone to turn the ignition key to the start position and hold it there while you check pin 1 of the starter relay which should have 12 volts on it.
