Default my 98 LS with TSW vortex wheels

TSW Vortex hyper silver 17x8 +40
Enjoy
BTW, do you think it's strange the front sits so much higher than the rear? I'm on stock airbags.

I like, I'm partial to 5 spoke type wheels on these.
What's next?

thanks.
probably tint is next as weather gets hot around here.
No more appearance mods until the airbags need replacing. I might cut the stock springs that are sitting in the garage to close that front wheel gap. I like how the rear looks better.

not a bad intermediate for those wanting the LS430 5-spoke look but 17" big comfy tractor tires.

Very nice. I'm actually thinking of buying these right now.... But idk, wether to go with 17 x 8 or 19 x 8.... I think 17 will look smaller but will help maintain car's condition in tip top shape on the long run... Idk...

What kind of ride quality do you prefer? The 19" rubber prices are ok? 17" wheels gives more margin for road hazards with the 50 series rubber. The stock wheel-tire combo is about 52#'s. If you like how the car and suspension reacts in stock form, buying your wheels to be lighter or equal maintains some of the ride characteristics. Aesthetically, 19-20" looks really nice but if you fit them well, 17" can be fine as well.

Looks nice. I can't wait till all my parts get here! 17" also has better tire longevity. You can still get 60k miles out of a 17" tire. Try to get 45-50 thousand miles out of an 18" on up... Good luck. At least In my experience. Tire cost is pretty high. Even at 18". The cheap tire store is $600 for 245/45-18 plus mount, ect... Even Walmart was $142 a tire.

I'm a fan of CL. Two of the most expensive street tires for $150! You can't beat that. Especially, since I only needed two.
