Thanks PD, that's what I thought. Guess I'll just wire them to the side markers. I am going to run 7440 LED bulbs in the functional "dummy" lights and yellow HID's in the new fogs.
Yamae, here is a strange question, but keep in mind I am not an electric/electronic expert as you are: if I splice my recycled wiring into the factory turn signal wires, will this corner light simply illuminate or will it blink?
It will be blinking and the speed of blinking will be faster. The increased current changes the time constant.
Here's the finished product with some MIC leds...wired to the parking lights. Drove to work this morning as the sun was coming up and just using these gave off more than enough light. Cheers.
