For some and maybe in my mind, I desire a serviceable unit. These days these would be almost disposable. One of my buddy's brought back a set from Japan on one trip. Eventually it blew out and to service them, it needs to go back to Japan. He's considering some Megans.

Not for a coilover rebuild or anything, but when I was in the market early last year, I would email the service department for their opinion on the condition of a set I was interested. I received emails back in a timely manner with details about the set. So idk...?

I have Stark coilovers on mine. These allow the LS to get SLAMMED but you'll have some serious rubbing without any modification. The ride quality is probably too harsh for most members here. But if you want a sport feel, you'll love them too.Well I have less than 100 miles on them, but so far they're what I was hoping for.

please differentiate between the LP Street and EZ....
my LP Street have locking lower rings and amazing ride quality so far. what's the shock body diameter on the BC? or better yet, what's the internal diameter of the shock? valve diameter?
the only things i see as potential benefits of the BCs at this point are the available rubber mounts and the ability to custom spec spring rates...

LP and EZ are thee same on all hard specs, the damping control is what differs. Megan uses a 41mm Piston and 50mm body. The BC's use a 46mm Piston and 53mm Body.
The Lower rings on the Megans don't really "lock" per say, they tighten down to the lower mount and stay put with friction across the 2 flat surfaces. The BCR coilovers ring is a concave design and it actually lock down inside the mount. I can't find a pic for reference at the moment but after a few adjustments the BC rings tend to stay a lot tighter.
