did you give a few knocks at the upper control arm?? some people recommend a ball joint press.

i cant get the ball joint to screw back up because the bolt turns with the nut i've read it says to use the ball joint puller in reverse to add pressure. but it doesn't seem it will fit from the top. any help appreciated

use a jack on the spindle/lower control arm to add a little pressure to the whole assy. so you can tq the nut on.
