(new to club lexus)i got an ls400 1990 pretty nice n low low...i just wanted to ad a bit more power,like a turbo and do a w58 swap..is it really possible?? would love to know love my car,and just got a nice paint job car looks sweet..any ideas

please search, there's nothing close to a bolt-on turbo setup, at all. 5Spd conversions are possible but will require some custom fabrication and again, won't be overly inexpensive.

kool,i heard there was a kit that bolts up to the bell housing of the ls and a w58....but i went to ebay and theres lots of universal turbo kits,but i have to custom make a manifold and down pipe..i just dont want to spend all this money n stuffs not gonna work properly

modifying a car is never cheap, and converting a car to forced induction is especially so, much less one that was never a popular base for such power adders.

perhaps an SC300 is more your speed, as there have been people swapping 2JZ-GTE motors or turbo-ing their 2JZ-GE motors for the better part of 20 years...

lots of modification i think..but puting a turbo on a v8 it a lil bit more powerful i guess,
