http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/cto/2786799967.html

I'll be checking out this ls400 tonight. What do you guys think so far as of the info given & the photo of the car? I've spoken to the guy & from what he's told me, everythings great about the car beside the expired reg, but the services hasn't been done at lexus. I'll update this thread when i get back.

take it for a test drive through DEQ. Sounds legit, but DEQ will tell you more.

So i've checked it out last night & took it for a test drive. I must say that it drives really smooth! The whole car inside is very clean also. But its a good thing i inspected that car top to bottom. Aside from the whole car being clean & driving smoothly, there's a dent on the passenger side starting from the rear passenger door all the way to the middle of the front passenger door. It's a minor dent though. It could pass as a body line but still fixable. Nothing heart wrenching. You also got your minor scratches from wear & tear of the car on the door claddings & on the rear bumper. Nothing like a wet sanding & repainting couldn't fix. The tilt on the steering wheel has a broken or worn out gear im assuming because it telescopes in & out but can't go up & down. I've had this problem before on my ucf10 & its an easy fix. Oh & one more thing, the passenger side mirror has a quarter size piece of it missing. Not the mirror glass but the housing, i guess you would say. But that dont bother me.

Aside all that, i've managed to drop the price from $4500 to $3950 considering a replacement mirror from lexus costs $662. Like i said the whole car checked out & performed very well! It also has been maintained very well & up to date with everything.

Will post some photos i took that night when i have time.

looks very similar to mine and at a much better price point. just be aware that this is a pearl white and repainting it and matching will be hard. it's a 3 stage pearl but that shouldn't bother your considering it.

Have a 97 just like that. Just rolled over 270K miles. Sounds like a great deal.
