Default BBS CS5 Wheels

Check out this pic. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

According to Tirerack this wheel fits Gen I LS400 but it doesn't fit 98-00 LS. But I just wondered why that is the case.

The specs are as follows:

Size: 17x7.5
Offset: 42mm
Backspacing: 5.86"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114

any idea why it doesn't fit?

please search.

'95-00 LS400's have WAY bigger front brakes and most wheels don't clear them.

I guess I need to find out what kind of spacers I need to clear the big brake calipers. Tire rack don't like to recommend spacers. Any idea? Thanks in advance for your answer / thoughts.

forget spacers, if you're trying to do this on the cheap. good spacers will cost you ~$120-160 and UP. plus if these BBS wheels don't have the flycuts in the back you can't even use the Bolt-on style spacers and have to get your old studs replaced. (labor).

generally, you'd need a 15mm spacer to clear. just buy a set of wheels that fit.

Well it seemed like op implied he had a 98-00, not a 95. So not necessarily bud.

please try not to speak of that which you don't know. misinformation hurts everyone.

'95-00 have the same basic chassis and suspension, and wheel fitment is pretty much identical.

regardless it was pointless anyway since they weren't the right wheels.
