Default 96 ls400 whole front vibrates

So when my car hits 60 mph the whole front shakes like the wheels wants to fall out . The upper control arm was bad , I changed it an its still vibratein . Thought the wheel needed balanceing , nope that's not it . Any ideas to what else wud cause it?

front strut rod bushing, though if its related to speed it's more likely a wheel or hub issue.

Switch the wheels around and see if the vibration changes. Then you can be sure it isn't that specific wheel/s as the cause. A road forced balanced tire is a good start and tracing though the front suspension for obviously worn bushings next.

How many miles on your car? As they age, many of those bushings will be showing signs of wear. That may be the UCA's LCA's, engine and tranny mounts and the infamous strut bar bushings. If there are any imbalances caused by tires or hubs, this may present itself in this manner.

When my '97 (approx 157,xxx) developed a glaringly apparent shaking at around 70 mph, the culprit turned out to be a rear tire with a slipped belt. Just put the winter tires back on, and it's smooth sailing.

It has a lil play still so might be the strut rod bushin or lca . I've had 3 l's an they always wana act up in the winter smh..

Does it only do it when your at 60? and also do you hear a slight scraping noise? if so check your calipers.

I was thinking warped rotors, but you'd prolly notice vibration at lower speeds too so maybe not.

Found the problem bad tire.. seems like the belt shifted in the tire . When I looked @ it the tire looked fine . I swictched it with the spare , no more vibrations =)
